2. Purim in Pyjamas in the Middle of the Night...
Motzai Shabbat - Saturday 23 February at 8:30 pm
which is usually middle of the night for little kids) we'll be having an exciting Purim Celebration with the Gantzeh Megillah Reading, followed by Hot Chocolate, Marshmallows, and Purim Treats and while it may not be as extravagant and wild as past years, that's because the morning after we are heading off to Ratange Junction!
3. Purim in Ratanga - yes, Ratanga! Book it in to your diary as we join all the Shuls and Schools of Cape Town for a community wide event. Purim Day - 24 February, 11 am - 3:00 pm. Megillah Readings (win an Ipad!), Kosher Food Court, a Shooby Doob Shloimy performance, and your most exciting Purim Ever!

4. Guest Lecture and Book Signing South Africa's legendary Rabbi Yossy Goldman joins the Garden's Shul, Gitlin Library and SAAJE for a lecture on Why the Jew's - a response to Anti Semitism. 2,500 years after the story of Purim and Haman's descendants from Persia/Iran to across the globe, continue their mission to deligitamize the existence of the Jewish People. Join us for an insightful lecture to the age old question - Why?

As everyone came up to our new venue Social Hall it was hardly recognizable; the indoor palm trees were swaying lightly in the breeze while the giraffes elephants and tigers looked quietly watching the freshly caught meat on the Braai under Louis’s expertise.
While the little ones were jumping on the tiger moonbounce and riding the lion carousel the older kids were getting busy with survival training for their next jungle experience as Captain Howard Shagom set up the SANDF radio tower and the others practiced their aim splashing Haman with Paint on Brett and Lindy Heyns Paintball range.
The beat of the natives reached a crescendo as the Drumbo groups had everyone on the drums beating away in a circle and then everyone quieted down for the Magillah Reading! I don’t think Haman ever felt so beaten away as each mention of his name elicited a deafening drumroll…
Meanwhile, the adults were enjoying the delicious jungle juice and lchaim's and after the Megillah reading everyone got their own Shalach Manot kit to fulfill the Mitzvah and coins for charity as well.
The long day finally ended with a delicious Ice Cream desert and a great night was had by all..
